First time having a housesitter? Here are some tips to prepare to make it a stress-free experience for you, your pets, and your housesitter(s)
Fill our our "Your Home" and "Your Pet" form (1 for each pet) which you can find on our website.
We created a simple, yet comprehensive form covering your pets' routines, feeding schedules, medical needs, and preferences they have, etc.
The "Your Home" form includes emergency information, home maintenance (e.g., trash schedule), plant-care instructions, thermostat setting preferences, and so on.
Make sure your housesitter has everything they need. Stock up on pet food, treats, and necessary supplies to cover the duration of your absence.
Meet and Greet. We prefer to meet you and your pets before departure to be shown around, where you keep the pet-related items, how to set up the alarm system, if applicable, even go on walks to see your dog's preferred route. If this is not possible, a video chat or video recording of the above would be greatly appreciated.
